Clutch: Reviews & Ratings
We came across Clutch on Google maps as it was close to our hotel, but the website showed it was full so we asked to be added to the waiting list. The chef text my husband and offered us a bar seat in front of the kitchen, which we accepted. The owners/staff were great and extremely welcoming from start to finish! They even gave us some little tasters and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Food was absolutely out of this world, not a single criticism.....I would recommend clutch to anyone that is visiting Paris! By far one of the best meals we have ever had and the staff were genuinely lovely!!
Small but excellent restaurant with attentive staff. Open kitchen must have excellent extractor fans because there were no food odours in the dining area. We ate late and the restaurant was full - great to see on a Tuesday night. Bravo chef !
Went for Valentine's day dinner and the menu was spectacular. Ceviche entree was amazing, and so was the first chou creme dessert. They offered an interesting drinks pairing with the menu which looked really good. Large wine list and staff seemed knowledgeable about wines. Service was amazing as well; incredibly friendly staff and very considerate as we brought our puppy. They saved a seat for us with lots of room for him and asked if we needed water or treats for him too.

Located in the vibrant 11th arrondissement of Paris, Clutch is a culinary gem that effortlessly blends bistronomic finesse with heartfelt hospitality. Chef Pierre Rieder, drawing from his rich experience under Pierre Sang, crafts a menu where each dish tells a story of bold contrasts and refined harmony.
The standout porchetta is a masterclass in tender, flavorful roasting, its richness beautifully balanced by the vibrant notes of a teriyaki sauce that adds both depth and subtle sweetness. This interplay of textures and tastes defines the experience at Clutch—unexpected yet perfectly balanced.
Equally memorable is the sablé breton crémeux citron, a dessert that arrives light and citrusy, cutting through the richer parts of the meal with a fresh, creamy brightness that lingers on the palate. The leche de tigre offers vibrant acidity and spice, elevating the seafood experience with its invigorating zest.
The abricot pistache resonates with delicate nutty undertones and a natural sweetness that feels both decadent and restrained, while the quasi de veau showcases a tender veal preparation that melts effortlessly, paired with accompaniments that add layers of earthy, aromatic complexity.
The open kitchen setup invites diners into the heart of the action, creating a dynamic atmosphere where professionalism meets warmth. The staff reflect this ethos, attentive and genuinely welcoming, transforming a meal into an intimate and memorable occasion.
What struck me most about Clutch is its remarkable balance—each element from dish to service is thoughtfully orchestrated. Whether it’s the crunch of the autumn vegetable tian or the silky smoothness of a potato gnocchi paired with confit pork, every bite offers a vivid exploration of texture and flavor. This is modern Parisian dining at its finest: innovative, cosmopolitan, and deeply satisfying.
